In 2018, Mr. B Pastel was born as a passion project to bridge Brazilian nostalgia with Australian food culture. We started our journey at the Old Bus Depot Markets in Kingston, bringing the authentic energy of a Brazilian street fair to Canberra.

Word spread quickly about our incredibly thin dough, rolled to create that signature light crunch and golden texture. Unlike traditional empanadas, our pastéis are airier, crispier, and generously stuffed with authentic fillings.
Today, you can find us at our permanent home in Grazier Lane, Belconnen, or catch us sizzling at Canberra's most popular events and festivals. No forks, no knives—just hold it in one hand with a Guaraná in the other, the way it's meant to be enjoyed.
